We like to visit OC, NJ after labor day, less crowds. Our fave pizza Ocean eleven was closed for season, so before leaving we picked up Lamb gyros and a nutella/strawberry/banana crepes. It was delicious! just like the ones i enjoyed in NYS- south street seaport! Place is consistently busy, good clean food and food is best on boardwalk.
Hot, freshly made Gyro. Plenty of meat and veggies. They were to go, so they wrapped them up securely as well. Very good.
If you want authentic Greek this is the place! Their traditional gyro is soooooo yummy! The fresh warm pita, tender lamb with perfect seasoning, the fresh tzatziki, tomatoes and onions. Melts in your mouth. Plus, prices are reasonable! Definitely coming back!
This is easily my favorite meal on the boardwalk. It's always delicious and made to order. The Greek Nachos are the perfect bite.
Opa! Great change from pizza at the boardwalk! They have a big menu with a lot of different options. The seating is in a nice less chaotic area a little off the boardwalk. Their Greek salad and pita sandwiches are my favorite! The food always comes out fast and staff are nice.
This place is great for gluten free and non-gluten free food the GF chicken cheese steak wrap is AMAZING!!! I have been going here for years and they do not disappoint. The wait staff are also amazing and informative.
My favorite place at the boardwalk, everything is delicious! My go to is the Popeye Wrap. The Baba Ganoush Chicken Wrap is also delicious, as is the Chicken Cheesesteak. Get Tzatziki sauce extra on the side, there's never too much garlic sauce ;) The fresh crepes are heavenly, I'm a purist and love the Nutella style. Baklava delicious (duuuh), try the cheesecake baklava, unexpectedly delicious. The service is super quick and the owners very nice. Highly recommended!
Walking the boards today I decided to try something new. With the nice breeze coming off the ocean, eating outside would be a joy today. Thank goodness for the OCNJ falcon initiative to keep the seagulls away! Not super hungry but just needed something to tide me over....Zucchini fries at Opa were the perfect choice! I could tell they were freshly made bc they were so crispy and so hot--and delicious. The pieces of zucchini are substantial so you really feel like you're eating more zucchini than breading. At first I wasn't sure I would like the tzatziki as a dipping sauce- but it's perfect. If the rest of the food is as good as this, I will definitely be back :)
I found this little place as I was wandering around Ocean City. What a great mom and pop business! I ordered a Greek salad and it was delicious! Gyro meat was tasty, salad was really crispy cold and fresh. People that work there are extremely nice. Definitely, a wonderful lunch!
Picked up lunch to go here 4 times while spending the week at the beach, safe to say I really enjoyed it! Three times I had the pita chicken and added olives & feta and the other time I got a grilled chicken salad. Serving sizes are large, price is reasonable and the flavor is delicious. It's a great refreshing option especially in the heat! The 3 people I saw working there were friendly, wearing a mask and they have guards up as well as hand sanitizer on the way out. There is some seating outside (some blocked off for COVID distance restrictions) but I just took my food to go each time. My friend got the buffalo chicken sandwich and a cheesecake crepe which he said both were delicious. Highly recommend this spot! Will definitely be stopping in again on our next beach trip!
